Member Posts: 1314 Location: Menasha, WI | I've been too lazy to get the boat put up for the winter and after seeing the weather forecast for this weekend I'm glad it's still out. I was out two weeks ago and found a few small eyes on top of the reefs drifting Lindy rigs & minnows. I'd love to end the season with a little more productivity. Any tips??

Member Posts: 3899 | I heard the perch decided to bite again. I'm not sure exactly where, as I only overheard the phone conversation, but I'd bet it's on the North end.

Member Posts: 10 | One of my friends went out last week and trolled near the High Cliff with some Pa's fintail spoons. He didn't catch walleyes but caught seven saugers.Yes, they were released, and its nice to see that they are coming back. The walleyes are in the lake. Try some different tactics like pa's spoons or different color reef runners, or different speeds. There is only one way to catch fish and that is by trying.

Member Posts: 166 Location: Freedom, WI | Has anyone ever tried night fishing Winnebago like the bay? I am almost anxious to get out there and be a pioneer. The eyes are tight lipped during the day, but I bet once the sun goes down it becomes a different story! Unfortunately for me I will not be able to test this as the boat is getting stored this Sunday. ![]()

Member Posts: 1656 | My advice for night bite on 'bago.....don't waste your time trolling. There is a night bite, spend some time out there in the dark....I think you may be surprised at what you find. Good Luck

My pops pulled in three nice walleye at the Menasha Dam last night, before getting kicked out by the Watchman from Banta's.
