Denver here is a question for you. What football team has gone to the Super Bowl 4 times and lost all 4 games? Here is a hint: they're from Minnesota.

I'm not a sore loser. In fact, if you want to talk facts, let's talk.

1. What NFL team has the most championships?
2. Which team, either Minnesota or Green Bay, has won 3 Super Bowls?
3. Which team has, hands down, the best fans?

Now for Minnesota's claims to NFL fame.

4. Which team has been to 4 Super Bowls and has yet to be competitive?
5. Which team was 15-1 in 1998 and choked under pressure, at home, in the playoffs?
6. Which team has the most classless bums on it?

Congratulations Minnesota Vikings.

Good luck in round two.

I'm not a sore loser either. The Packers didn't play up to their ability so they lost, that would be the only thing I would be sore about. Since I grew up on the Wisconsin side from Winona I've seen my share of "Vikings fans" that are there when the Vikinga are doing great and cut them done royaly when they're on the skids. Also, why is it that you wonderful vikings fans can't even fill up the HHH dome on a Sunday except when the Packer fans come over for their game. You can't refute this fact, because my brother, a Packer fan, can't even watch the game and they live up by the Cities.

I see you want to dish it out when you win but u lose and u dont seem to take it well. Make sure you watch this weekend. Maybe you get to talk next weekend but wait, cant really say much cause like i said before your packers at home again with the best QB in the NFL. which team has lost the last 2 home games in the playoffs? wouldnt be the pack attack right? good luck next season.

Get your facts straight Denver. The Packer's have lost one in a row at home in the playoffs. They beat Seattle last year.
Quit living in the past? Might this be because your past is so clouded with choke jobs that you don't want to remember it?
When Brett is done.....he will go down as one of the best, if not the best, quarterbacks and competitors to ever play the game. Can you dispute this?
I am not a sore loser. Hey, they lost and I'm not happy with it, but I can live with it. The sun rose on Monday, my family is still healthy, everything is good.
Last....the fans. It's widely recognized by the NFL that Green Bay has the most loyal and knowledgeable fans. Otherwise, how could an NFL team survive in an environment with barely 100,000 people in it? If the Minnesota fans are so special and loyal to their teams, how come MLB and Red McCombs talk of things such as moving to California or dissolving the Twins organization because of lack of support and funding? Once again, get your facts straight.

Good luck this weekend with the Eagles.

Best quarterbacks? I think you need to look at the past Elway will not be passed by Farve, Montana will not be passed, do i need to continue, he is a great qb but will not be the best ever, remember you brought up character well maybe you need to look at the facts of your QB'S past (drug abbuse) hmmmm but your packers have never done anything wrong in your eyes. Hello mcfly, wake up they all screw up sometime and the media dont let them get away with it. As for Mccombs did i ever say anything about the owners of your team. Jackass McCombs is what he is, Your owners areant the best either look at the NFL today, I do beleive the AFC teams are kicken our asses so it seems to me they might have the better owners right now. the bottom line is you cant take it when someone else gives you shit but u sure were one to give it out when you won a game. Do i really think it matters what you and I talk about on here no it wont make any diff to the game and yes ty for saying gl to the vikes they need it just like they needed it for your game and finally got some. Do you really think vikings fans thought they were going to win over brett farve by that much absolutely not but will sure take it after the verbal abbuse You do to them all season after your wins. Jist remember the past is the past and you might need to look at the present and the future about doggin people out i did see on the other forum you taking a beatin there too, not learning anything thought right?????????????? Your team lost and you gonna give yourself a heartattach over it. I hope not cause you make me let some steam out lol...... If you cant have fun with it then just let me know and i will not respond to your abbuse in the future. have a great day.

By the way, if you want to read what Brett Favre is all about, read this:

Terminally ill child has a new friend in Favre
By AMAN BATHEJA
Fort Worth Star-Telegram
Posted: Jan. 12, 2005
Christopher Foppiano was living a dream, sitting in the stands at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, watching his new buddy Brett Favre play football.

But Favre was struggling and the Green Bay Packers were losing - badly - to the Minnesota Vikings.

Christopher spoke to his mom urgently.

“I have to go down there,” Christopher, 8, told his mother, Christine Foppiano. “I have to talk to Brett.”

His mother didn’t get it. They had traveled from the North Texas town of Weatherford for the wild-card playoff game, and he had just met Favre on the sideline, where he got a big hug and the crowd had erupted in cheers. Why did Christopher have to see him again so soon?

“He’ll listen to me and he’ll do a better job,” Christopher explained.

Now she understood, for it was the kind of selfless remark Christopher always makes, despite his condition.

Christopher has terminal brain cancer. After five surgeries, the family was told in December that he had between six months and a year to live.

Through it all, he has remained upbeat, always thinking of others.

“He’s one of these kids that never complains,” said his oncologist at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Dan Bowers. “He always has a smile on his face. He has never questioned his situation; he’s never asked, ‘Why did this happen to me?’ ”

Christopher did want to see Favre play football, however. But because the tumors were coming faster than ever, Christine knew that if Christopher didn’t make it to Green Bay for the Minnesota game, he might never meet Favre.

So she went to work.

Late last month, Christine posted a letter on the message board for www.OfficialBrettFavre.com, the player’s Web site. She wrote that she wanted her son to meet Favre and watch him play.

When Packers fan Tripp Hardin first read Christine’s letter on Jan. 4, he was instantly moved, but he knew that to get them to the game, he had to act quickly.

He knew that Favre occasionally looked at the message board and answered questions. But the game was less than a week away, and he figured the chances of Favre seeing the letter were “slim to none, with slim walking out the door.”

The Packers frequently allow visits from terminally ill children through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, said Cathy Dworak, the team’s manager of community relations. But Christopher’s case was a direct appeal to Favre, so this was his call, not the Packers’.

“Brett decided he wanted to do it,” Dworak said.

Hardin, 45, a financial adviser in Kenosha, is a season ticket holder, and he gave his playoff tickets to the Foppianos. After a busy two days of phone calls to Christine, the Packers’ front office, and his father - who donated his frequent flier miles - Hardin had pulled it off.

With the final element in place, Hardin called Christine from his office in a bank and told her the good news.

“She just started crying, and of course then I started to,” he said. “I told myself, ‘You’ve got to stop crying. You can’t do that in a bank.’ ”

Christopher and Christine flew to Wisconsin on Friday, the start of a glorious, whirlwind NFL playoff weekend.

On Saturday, the pair got to watch the Packers practice. Later, they ate lunch with several players, including Favre, who sat with them for close to an hour. They also got a tour of Lambeau Field, which ended with a surprise in the locker room.

Christopher’s jaw dropped when he saw that he had his own locker, complete with nameplate, next to Favre’s. Inside was an official Green Bay jersey with “FOPPIANO” sewn on the back.

Sunday was filled with more surprises. As mother and son stood on the sideline before the game, players passed by to talk to Christopher. Several gave him mementos.

Then Favre came out of the locker room. He knelt down and spoke with Christopher for several minutes. He then gave him a big hug before going off to play.

“It was just so touching,” Christine said.

Christopher watched three quarters of the game before the cold and fatigue got the better of him. Hardin drove mother and son back to their hotel.

The Packers lost by two touchdowns and Favre threw four interceptions.

To Christopher, it was the best weekend of his life.

“Everyone he meets in Weatherford, Dallas and Fort Worth say that he’s their hero,” Christine said. “It’s like our local hero got to meet his hero.”

No matter what team we all cheer for, stories like this reflect the good things of sport and life in general. We hear so many things about players misbehaving that we don't really hear much about some of the heroes who give of themselves to make a kids life a little brighter. I've been in most major metroploitan areas with pro sports teams and the story is always the same but with different names and circumstances. That goes for Pro anglers too. Mr. Hardin proved that you don't have to be a star to get the ball rolling, he made a difference.

I only wish all sports did what the NFL does for the kids. I'm a member of Fishing Has No Boundries. It touches me with those kids that dont get to many breaks in life. Also check out ST. Judes in Memphis. I give to these places and would ask that you do also. I dont mean sound like a fundraiser and i'm not asking for money for these places, but if you have a extra buck or two, send it in,you will feel great about it. Just think how Mr. Farve felt after that, plus the child.

I wonder what Denver's excuse is for not telling us Packer fans about what sore losers we are. I wonder was it the better team that won yesterday or did they just get screwed by the ref's or the Packer fans rooting for the Eagles. Well, at least we are still division champs.
