I would like to just take a minute of your time and urge every River user to get your letters written and mailed.
All input is needed.
We as Fisherman are a bunch of unorganized fellows, and these new regulations are going to go into effect with or without your input.
So if you want to belly ache afterwards that is fine. Cause I probably will anyway.
But at least I made an effort to change things.
Send your letters to:
Comprehensive Conservation Plan
Upper Mississippi National Wildlife and Fish Refuge
51 East 4TH Street Room 101
Winona, Mn 55987

The web site for all the plans is: http://www.fws.gov/midwest/planning/uppermiss/

So check it out and make your voice heard or forever bitch about the results.

I will try and attach a copy of the letter I sent.

i would be surprized if any money will be spent on the upper mississippi river in the next few years. the lower part is in need and i don't think this administration will commit political suicide. no amount of spin will convince the bible belt that that coe money is needed upriver. like it or not this will be a very political issue.

Here is the updated version called Alternative E.
Those whom want to review it and get your letters written.

These rules and regulations are going to happen so I just hope you send your input before so that you have a chance to make your opinion count.

I have attached a copy of the letter that I sent To Don Hultman.
