Location: Rhinelander | I feel like a kid who just found out that school is cancelled for the day. I'm off to punish some fish, then by three PM in a tree hoping to steer a whitetail into the garage. A bit of last minute shopping, and I'm off for an entire WEEK, shooting ice video and hoping to fill my archery tag. Of course, Darth Vader's Outhouse calls for wood, so I'll gather some firewood too, just to continue my 'get back into shape because I'm 53 this March and I was fat' program.
What are your plans for the Holiday Weekend? |

Being I am 53 already, my plans are to become 54 next year. That would involve staying off the ice for another week or so, being its raining here right now, with more expected in the next 2 days. This rain may actually be a God send considering the amount of snow we have on top the (still kinda thin) ice. It will take away what insolating effect the snow is having, and meld it into the exsisting ice and freeze. Not the hardest/safest ice to have, but better than what we had going on. Otherwise, its the christmas thing and 4 days with the wife on her days off from work.

| Merry Christmas all here's a few perch from an excurission with Mr. Bluegill! The action was hot and furious and we caught a ton of fish in the 9-11" with an occassional 12 or 13 in there! Nothing better than spending the holidays with family on the ice.
Good Luck
