| Selling to someone I came in contact with through this site or any other is new to me. I will be sending a trolling motor to another state and was wondering if the seller waits for payment before shipping or does the buyer typically send payment after receiving the goods? |

| I think you need to reach an agreement with who you're buying/selling with. Every transaction is different. Just make sure you have an understanding with the other party.
There is always the chance for being screwed over, but such is life and the school of hard knocks. Good luck. |

Location: Appleton wi | I personally would want payment ahead of time but there are such websites like paypal that you can use if a understanding cant be made. Like jayson say's there's always the chance to get screwed, Good luck |

Location: Lincolnshire, IL | I have had quite a few transactions thru Walleyefirst, Muskiefirst and E-bay...IF I am selling, I expect payment first(but I also stand behind what I am selling)...If I am buying I send the cash first...so far so good...Wade |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Same thing here. I've sold other man's treasures/my garbage on Ebay and the expectation is that the item doesn't get sent out until payment is made. |

| I met up with a guy in a chatroom one night that was looking for an old X-15 paper graph that still worked. I had one. We agreed on a price. He mailed me a check. I made sure the check was good.... and then sent him the graph. |
