| I filmed last June with Babe and the show made the line up. Airs starting the 11th of Feb and again in May. It was supposed to part of two shows but the other guys Winnebago bite went south on him so I gave up my Poygan fish and half my show to make it work best. Already plans in works to do another one thanks to the effort and desire to make it work. We had a great time fishing and hanging around the Fin-N-Feather and Doug Nelson of Wolf River House worked with me on the lodging. I hope it turns out to be a good show. I've known Babe for about 16 years and we have always talked about fishing together. We had a good time in the boat and LOTS of laughs. I can't wait to fish with him again, TV camera or not, and doing a little golfing we talked about.
Being on his show was a goal I set a long time ago. Important to set goals.
Hope you watch, hope you like it. |

| Saw most of the show on 2/11, so checked my calander for 6/5/05 and I had fished the reeds on Poygan from 2:30 to 5:30 and brought home a limit 15" to 17"putting back 3 ( one to big and two to small). Wind out of the South at 15 to 20. Oh, also lost a couple. Using an 1/8 oz. jig and Gulp Turtle Back Worm. Liked the fly idea and will be trying it more this next spring. Anyway, don't be discouraged if the wind is blowing on Poygan. Hang on and ride. |

| When I hit the water that day the wind was gusting well over 30 mph, from the west, NOT a day you want to try and film a TV show on Poygan. Glad you did well. By 2:30 Babe and I were off the Wolf and he was on the Fox with the other guy. Not sure who you are telling not to be discouraged or to hang on and ride. Been there, done that. |
