What are your three favorite bead color combinations for clear water, and also for stained/dirty water? Thanks in advance,

Hey guys, just a FYI, alot of fabric or sewing stores have beads at really good prices. Impresses the wife when you actually go along with her to one of these places too, (well, at least the first time)

Member Posts: 33 Location: Plymouth WI | Beads come in all different materials, Glass plastic metal ceramic even clam shells. The most common are plastic because they are cheap to produce and come in a multitude of colors. You can find plastc beads at any craft or discount store that has a hobby department. You should try tying your own spinner harnesses it's fun and rewarding to catch a fish on something you've created.

Member Posts: 1195 Location: Orland Park, IL | Thats interesting. I was stumbling through one of those half assed sporting good stores, and seen this crawler harness kit on sale. Looked kinda hokey, so didnt get it. Seems simple enough to do. I gonna search and see if there are any directions out there.l

Member Posts: 215 | Heres a problem I have found with the chrome gold, copper and silver beads I have found and used. The plating always wears off very quickly and the shine is gone. Anyone found a bead like this that will not lose the plating ?

Member Posts: 1195 Location: Orland Park, IL | Wow, smokin link. And yes, I am not afraid to admit, I too am slow too. But hah, not afraid to ask. And thanks mucho Viking. "Let the feesh tell you what they want" sorta like mantra of all times. Does the same, and I would imagine so, apply to the varying types of blades, colors, pitch, type, etc? I mean, whats a harness supposed to represent anyway? I tend to think of it as a dinner bell. Feesh investigate, then see the juicy crawler (and I AM gonna try gulp!) and whack it, no? Key to a harness is speed. Sure color has an impact, but isnt scent the most important thing here. Signed "FNG crawler trolling harness guy who has been stuck in this jeeg phase far too long"
