Everyone should go to BassFan.com and read the article "Show Me the Money." I think it is a big reality check as to what professional anglers make. Let me know your thoughts.

Wow, the article is somewhat disturbing to say the least. Clearly, the topic has been discussed to death.

But like anything, the "glamorous" life, its not. I think more folks realize than not its not so ducky out there. Sure on the surface it all T&A, but under the covers, its ugly. Its too bad, but how many folks really think, getting into huge debt, maxing out credit cards, declaring bankruptcy, the hustle for sponsorhips and health care, etc., is worth it. I guess there are a few folks out there that do, but I tend to believe most folks, and pro wannabe's, are a bit more diligent in their approach. Or at least I hope so.

But wow, $55K for the elite series events this year. Thats a lot of cabbage
