Well I thought it was going to be a better day today but I don't know much from the day we had today.Fished the same area we did yesterday ,only put one dink and a whitey in the boat.Lost about a half dozen fish.Started out with crawler harn. and on the way in decided to pull some cranks past menominee park in 10ft and had a good fish on only to come unhooked.Oh well better than work anyday.

will get better, had a water temp tonight of 63.7.. fishing will turn on, trolling that is everybody, anchoring on reefs or humps is producing fish, but the hogs are awaiting in the mud..

Yup won't be long.I noticed that as I moved away from the river that the temp dropped to 59 to the north.Thats one of the reasons i stayed around the river mouth to the south. Most of the hits we got were from the mouth to the south.

Any idea on finding some perch action? My two older brothers are in town & want to catch some perch & a couple eyes on Bago but they don't want to troll. Hopefully I can return the favor on Green Bay for some help on Bago for tomorrow.
Thanks, Pat C#920-246-2747

had real good luck with perch and walleye last fall in 8ft of water on inner part of haystack reef with small jigs and half a crawler or small leeches. heard through the grapevine that their catching a few there this spring. stevens reef is supposedly heating up too. was out mon and tues nights and had 11 fish from 14 to 19ins. on jigs and leeches. be careful if you go into haystack bay as there s some real shallow spots. line yourself up with the radio towers just to your left looking towards shore and in about 50 yds till you hit 8ft of water. goes from 16ft or so to 8ft to 4to 5 ft.need to be on rocks on the edge of 8ft to 5ft area. early morning and late afternoon worked best for us. we anchored after drifting to find the fish good luck
