I haven't gotten any reports from the river. But Poygan is producing fish, both trolling and the Cane. Slipbobbers, and jigs on the windy side of the cane works. I have heard some reports of fish still up river, past Shiocton.

Perhaps Doc or Satcker can shed some light on the river itself.

The whitebass are still being caught but most aren't getting big numbers. Most are being caught out of deep holes on a river rig but that can change at anytime. I was out this last week and got a few on a spinner so you could try both methods. As for walleyes on the river I haven't heard of much going on there. So best of luck on your trip

The river has came down since the down pours and seems steady at this point. The holes are holding cats, walleyes, and white bass. The bayou are hold bluegills that are getting bunnched up for the spawn. The northerns seem to know they are there as well. The l and s bass are a little off but that can change over night. There should be plenty to catch this coming weekend. Where will you be staying?
