Well folks, as I promised, here is my report for the last week. Pre-fished last Thursday and Saturday East of Geano's reef in 20 to 22 FOW pulling harnesses. Color didn't seem to matter as long as purple was involved and large crawlers. We caught several over 20 inches, a couple around 25 inches and the previously posted 28 and 28 1/2 inchers with a bonus 29 incher on Saturday. However, Yesterday we managed only 2 fish with one being around 26 inches. They were there but we just couldn't get them to go. That's why they call it fishing instead of catching. Congrats to Jason and Brad for the winning basket. Sometimes that's the way it goes. I am feeling pretty good about where I stand in the 1st year of tournament fishing. I look forward to my last two events this year with the MWS and am also looking forward to the 2007 season. I've met some great people along the way and have received some good advice from a lot of good sticks. I have more confidence in my ability to catch fish and handle the Tuffy in the bigger stuff. And am thankful to all those who gave me pointers. Good luck to all in the rest of the season and the championships you are fishing. Hope to see you all next year.
