| With lots of money on the line, and seemingly having the lake to themselves, the top 10 Pros and their Co-Angler partners hit the water at 7 AM.
Talking to all of the anglers, everybody made it seem like just another day of fishing, but inside, I bet they all wish that they had Pepcid for a sponsor. They all agreed that any lead wasn't safe, and that they were all going looking for big fish only, today.
Talking to the Co-Anglers was a little different. Every one admitted to being happy to be there, but nervous inside. The Co-Angler race is tight, and anybody can take home the top prize.
Checking out the tackle that was prepared, it was obvious that they were going to be looking for those big Green Bay fish in the top of the water column. One angler even had a slip-bobber rigged to use as a "mini ski", with a light weight and spinner rig under the slip bobber.
Winds are forecast for 10-20 mph from the SW, with a 2-3 foot chop developing by afternoon. Temps forecast for the 90's again and no cloud cover might drive the fish a little deeper. One angler I talked to told me that if they do make a move, he knows where they are going, and predicted that you would see a 40# bag today. Just yanking my chain? I don't think so. These guys were all dead serious, and every one was confident that they could bring in 30#. Well see at 4 o'clock
