Location: Darboy USA | I'd like to run some of the new Ruff Guys that I've got this weekend on Bago, does anyone have an idea on a dive curve? I'm presuming because of the size and shape it will be somewhat similar to the Winning Streaks? I've seen that 150' of line should be about 13' down so that's pretty close to what the WS curve is.
Any approximates or ideas would be appreciated. |

I have found that when I ran them at 2 miles a hour and in 8 feet of water a total of 25 feet of line they hit bottom. So I think at 150 they be deeper.

It depends on the size of Ruff Guy you are running. I have found that the small size #14 runs very similar to a #5 shad rap, maybe a bit deeper. The #15 runs like a #7 shad rap, again give or take a bit.
If you have any questions just shoot me an email. We need to get out together soon! |

Location: Darboy USA | Thanks Jon for the info. I wanted to run them yesterday, but they were hammering the Winning Streaks so I just kept those out. I sent you an e-mail last week, let me know what your schedule looks like this week and next for some pre-fishing. I'm game! |

| Jon hit it right on the head. The Ruff Guys dive very similar to their corresponding size of Shad Rap. I have found that if anything it may be a tad deeper as well. I'm very pleased with the baits so far.
