Usually, when the needle and seat sticks open on a carb, it is a dirty gas issue, not a carb issue. I have a Lawn Boy, one of the best mowers made. This year, I changed the needle and seat, and they failed again after just a couple tanks of gas. I put in new, and changed the gas. All good now. I didn't rip on Lawn Boy.

I run fuel filters on my boat, even to the kicker motor. I figure in the long run, it will save some aggravation. Last kicker had several hundred hours on it, without any problems.

Location: WI
Saturday I worked the mud hard for five small eyes. I did find a can't keep off the white bass system, if anybody is interested.

If anybody likes Gills. Madison is giving up tons of them.
