Headed out at 6 this morn and decided to head for the east side and head towards garlic.the first hour produced 2 sand pike 1 at 19"with a tag and the other about 15" heard a few others got a few too.Started to switch baits and found that they wanted gold today 3 fish all on a clown colored nitro shiner in the next 15min 115ft back and switched the rest of our set to all gold in t-sticks,wally divers and hot n tots.Had a few more small fish and ended it after the bugs got to us at 10:00 with 4 fish in the boat.I decided to run 2 lines out the back 120-150ft and we did get our last fish on a purple firetiger t-stick.I did a common mistake by me AGAIN today and headed into the wind for a run back down wind.Should have picked em up and ran back for another run.I seem to keep making this same mistake for some reason.I guess I have a hard time getting my baits out of the water.We ran everything deeper 11-16ft

I make that mistake too. I guess I figure that the longer the baits are in the water the more opportunities I'll have. But I'm slowly getting over the habit, learning that unproductive presentations are wasting real opportunities. Nice report Risor. Thanks.
