It was dead calm virtually all day and allowed anybody to head out and fish the middle of Lake Huron if they wanted today. That wind is hawking right now and heres tomorrow forecast. As anybody knows who lives or fishes here, add 1 foot to any forecast when the wind is N/NE. It should be a walleye fishing nightmare tomorrow. Good luck to everybody, use your heads and stay safe. TONIGHT NORTHEAST WINDS 5 TO 10 KNOTS...BECOMING NORTH 15 TO 20 KNOTS OVERNIGHT. MOSTLY CLOUDY. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH ABOUT 8 PM...THEN SCATTERED LIGHT SHOWERS THROUGH ABOUT 4 AM. WAVES 1 TO 3 FEET...BUILDING TO 2 TO 4 FEET LATE AT NIGHT. SUNDAY NORTH WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS...BECOMING NORTHEAST 5 TO 10 KNOTS. MOSTLY CLOUDY UNTIL LATE MORNING...THEN BECOMING PARTLY SUNNY. WAVES 2 TO 4 FEET...SUBSIDING TO 1 TO 3 FEET LATE. Member Posts: 67 | Dan your right, those guys won't be making those long runs because there is a boundary line for bad weather, I believe it is sand point to point augres. just a guess but I'm thinking those 30 lbs bags came from way north of there. | ||
