Location: Rhinelander | PWT Celebrity Shootout Fishing Tournament September 18-21, 2006 Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge Manitoba, Canada The Field is set for the PWT Celebrity Challenge benefitting the Boomer Esiason Foundation - Fighting Cystic Fibrosis. PWT Tournament Director Charlie Moore told me this morning that Darrel Christensen has elected to attend as will Jim Carroll in 'Top Ten' slots left open by Bill Ortiz and Pete Harsh. 'Iron Man' Bill Ortiz is staying at home in Septemebr to visit with his wife before he has to head out for the upcoming FLW and PWT Championships in October. 'Iron Man' Mr. Harsh has prefish plans for the FLW, and elected to concentrate on his Pre-FLW Championship program. The Pros will be partnered with Celebrities for the competition/fund raiser after flying in with a very limited amount of gear. All will fish out of identical Lund Boats, with only the gear they can bring in on the float plane. "The PWT Celebrity Challenge is going to be quite an event for the Pros and for Charity", said Mr. Moore, adding; "The Pros attending will be pleasantly surprised; this event will be enjoyable and very beneficial to everyone involved this year and into the future."
