Location: Rhinelander | Looks like we are going to experience a pretty good blast of cold air next week, with some cold rain tossed in. The weedline bite on Pelican should begin to heat up as the water temps cool down, looking very much forward to that!
I really like the fall, but it's hard to decide whether I should be in the fields with a scattergun, in a tree with my bow, out in the rig chasing muskies, or looking for a school of 5# plus 'eyes on the mid meso lakes here in Oneida County.
What's your favorite fall water? Anyone else using jigs and BIG plastics for walleyes in October and November? |

No woods for me. I gave all that up years ago and concentrated on being the best I could be with Fishing, Family and Football. Gave up the coaching part 10 years ago. |

1st of November, stay in the tree all day.
Bowhunting is too short to miss it.

Location: Port Washington, wisconsin | Heading to North Twin this coming weekend for some walleye action. Jigs and bottom bouncers are our choices for numbers of fish. I just love the place. Nice to get back to the north woods. |

Direct that cold front my way would ya. Water temp was 62 this morning on the river. 24 more degrees colder and its showtime.

Location: McFarland, WI | Muskies on Big Arb, Ducks on the ER chain, Turkeys in Green Co., big walleyes on the Bay and deep Vilas Co lakes, and antlers in the Nicolet. Fall needs to be a holiday to even try and get it all done and maintain some peace at home. My wife will need a support group. Outdoor addicts anonymous.
