Member Posts: 179 | If any of you checked out the MWC results you can see that the fish are starting to turn on over here. The eyes are being caught on willow cats and one-eyes.Now that the tourneys are over for the year we will have a good supply of willow cats on hand. The bite near both dams has been getting better by the day.The nite bite on the float has also been getting better. Good Luck

If you're coming over to fish and need cats you better go to LaCrosse. They'll say they have cats at falling rock, but when you stop in there they don't have them and haven't had many. Just letting people know so they aren't suprised like I was. By the way trolling was the ticket yesterday 11-13' on channel edge with shad raps.

Member Posts: 66 Location: Sheboygan,WI | Thats a cheap shot. As Len says your hardly the only one using them. No one even the guy in LaCrosse had them two weeks ago.

Member Posts: 145 | As usual, big mouths, but the other parts of their anatomy are missing. A blatant rip like that, and they don't have the guts to sign their names. Why doesn't it suprise me. 3 questions...... 1- Coming up with my 10 year old for 5 days. How are the weeds below the dam? I know they have been troublesome in the past. 2- Trolling Shad Raps on the channel edge sounds good. Pool 9 or 10? 3- Anything happening in the running sloughs? I want to find some easy fishing for her. Hitting the dams is easy, but if I can find a trolling bite, it would be nice to have 2 options. See, this is what this forum is for. Exchange of fishing information, not a place to launch your crap. That's what we have politicians for. Beav

Member Posts: 1188 Location: Chicago IL. | A simple phone call ahead would be the answer to the guest instead of slamming somebody. If i`m looking for something when traveling ,I phone ahead and its ready when I get there. There is not enough time to go shop/hunting around for anything these days. If you go prepared your day will be more enjoyable. Try it, it`s really not hard to do.

Oh I get it! It is not okay to give info to people if it hurts one of the regulars feelings? Just posting facts so people don't get caught like I do. By the way. I contacted Len and was assured there were cats and when I get there he didn't have any. I would think others making the trip would want to know this. Beaver, grass is almost gone. Trolled channel on pool 9. Didn't fish the sloughs, but there was very little current and the water was at least a few feet low. Was up at the dam, and there was barely anything coming through the gates. I have heard the upstream pools have been much better.
