 Member Posts: 2680 Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Fished the Saginaw this afternoon with board members Chamook and Scotty Hoover. It was as close to a constant walleye bite as you could get. I'd modestly guess we boated more than 70 walleyes in the 3 1/2 hours we fished. Many at that 13 to 14 inch mark and only 6 (up to 18 inches) that were legal to keep. We released them all anyway. The hot jig was the 3/8 Pink XPS, tipped with a white fuzzy grub. Bob stuck with a piece of Gulp worm and other plastics the whole trip, while Scotty and I used Shiners. Member Posts: 2680 Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | I forgot to mention the 13 pounder that Scotty caught and that I got a picture of. The rods in front of the subject caused it to focus on them more than the monster Scotty landed. Scotty warned us all that playing and landing to many leviathans like this one on light tackle, can give you Carp 'el Tunnel.
