| Considering purchasing one of these new units (W55). Looking for some feedback on them, good or bad. How's the turning speed? Has the wireless foot control been reliable? Is the foot control easy/comfortable to use? Thanks in advance.

Location: Rhinelander | I have a 24 volt and love it. No problems, very fast turning speed. Easy to use, just a tap turns it on, another off. |

| sworrall,
How exactly does the foot control work? Based on the picture in Cabelas, there appears to be a left button, a right button and a on/off button. Is there a momentary/continuous button? Does this motor allow for momentary or continuous run operation? How are speed adjustments made? Thanks.

I had the pleasure to spend a few hours in the boat with Mr.Worrall and I used his trolling motor a few times. The thing is very cool! Actually considering getting one myself this coming year. But the foot control from what I have talked to Mr.Worrall about held up very good all year, I didn't hear him complaining, nor did I hear Slamr, the moderator on MuskieFirst about the foot control at all. To use the foot control there is an on and off button you have to hit every time. So you want to move the boat you have to tap on, then you have a right and left button. And you also have a plus sign button on the right side to increase speed and a negative sign on the left button to decrease it. It's a very simple foot control, very nice to stow away when not using! For the time I used it I would highly recommend it. Otherwise check out the new Terrova by Minn Kota that is coming out very soon. |

| What happens if two boats are within 25 ft of one another and they each have one of these wireless bowmounts? Will one foot control affect the other motor?
Thanks. |
