Alright, alright, simmer down now . Let me explain. As the time draws nearer when the wolf river becomes a flowing entity again. I would just like to explain to some folks what the defintion of slow no wake is.
Term: Slow no wake.
Defintion: The slowest possible speed that a boat may travel while maintaining steerability. WITHOUT LEAVING A WAKE!
Now I know that some boats are just going to leave some kind of wake. But last year walleye fishing, my boy is sitting in the rear of the boat on a pedestal seat jiggin his tail off. A boat comes through a SLOW NO WAKE 3/4 throttle nose straight up in the air and the tail end of the boat pretty much under water level leaving a wake you could surf on tossed my 10 yearold from the boat. If I wouldnt have been so preoccupied with fishing my son out of the water a beating may have occurred. All I am saying is slow no wake means just that. And if you come up on a pile of boats slow down. Common curtousy thats all. My motto is plane off or back off. Which ever the situation calls for.
