Does anyone know if the docks are in at the launch where the Duck Inn use to be?

Bob,

I went there very early last year and with no docks in, I had to back my boat a little farther in the water than normal. As I was attempting to jump over the trailer tounge, I caught my leg on the trailer and fell face first into the water on a day when the temp was about 40 outside. I did what every other guy would do... I looked around to make sure no one had seen me and then I began to curse and laugh at the same time. I went out fishing till I could no long stand the fact that I was soaked from head to toe and freezing. When I came in from fishing, a guy asked me if I fell in... I just grinned and told him it was a long story.

PS

Yea PS, I've attempted the jump the trailor tongue maneuver myself last spring. I however was on the concrete. As I was flying thru the air, I was thinking that my face and heaven knows what else is in for big trouble if I don't react quick. So, I did the "tuck and roll" drill and kind of rolled down the parking lot for about a half a block, till I lost all the momentum. Came out pretty much unscathed cept for my ego. I guess tongue jumping is one of those things you need to forget about at some point in your aging process.
