Fishing is steadily picking up shallow [6 to 10 FOW] from the Hot Ponds to Quanicassee. I just heard that the MWT is sending it's participants to the river for this weekends tourney. East winds predicted in the 20 to 30 range. My bud boated 23 walleyes 3 smallies trolling the Tittabawassee with #7 Raps a few days ago. No monsters, biggest 24 inches. High/cold water has stalled the downstream migration some. I got a trip booked for tomarrow with 2 guys from Illinois. Going to start out spot trolling for walleyes and see how it goes. Then hit the spillway for some fast smallie/white bass action. It's what they come here for every year anyways.
