Looks like the Northern lakes will be open very soon. I'll post as lakes up here open up; could make a difference where you find the eyes this year when season opens, and the crappies, perch, and gills are waiting...

It's still in the 50's here, hard to believe. We usually lose our ice the 15th of April at the latest. I might be in a boat this weekend!

The DNR declared ice out on Winnebago today (although, as of this morning, there was still some chunks floating around).
