Looks like the front end of a triton and the rear end of a Ranger, atleast from that pic.

Really? My Tuffy does'nt flare down in the rear, nor does it have useless splashwell space. My bow does'nt stick up out of the water like the Triton either, so I guess I have no idea what you are talking about????? I guess you could say they are both boats and thats some sort of similarity

Looks like a Triton hull to me. It will be a great boat if it is a Triton hull with the Lund interior options.

With the interior design and layout the first thing that popped into my head was a Sylvan fish and ski. Also, alot like the Barrons. side rod storage as well. Multispecie for sure.

Rumor has it that it's built by Triton, at least thats what I've heard. I don't want to mention names, but the source is very high on Lunds Pro Staff.

It is a new hull, with a new mold.
Lund designed, engineered and with Lund warranty.
They will be built over at Earl Bentz's factory.
This first model is a fish and ski and is called "1860 Tyee GL".
Competition for the Ranger 1850 Reata? Yes, no bones about it.
When you finally get a look at these boats, you will see some superior fishing features compared to the usual Fish-Ski boat.
You will also see a couple more models in the not too distant future.
They will beTournament models.
There will be surprises.

Is one of the surprises that I don't have to give up my first born to own one? Looking forward to seeing it in person.

From what I know... really close in price to a Ranger 1850 Reata....but the Lund will be a bit less than the Reata if the Reata and Tyee GL both have Verados.
