The bite was actually tougher today despite better weather this afternoon, but that didn't stop Toyota Trucks Team Pro Pat Neu, Evinrude Pro Scott Fairbairn, and Tracker/Mercury Pro Gary Parsons from bringing almost identical weights to the scales. The result was a a 13/100 of a pound difference between third and second, and a WIN for Gary Parsons.

Gary was fishing Winnebago, jigging while his Co Angler pitched cranks. He said the weather beat him up pretty good, but everything on the Rig worked to perfection all the way to the win. He was fishing small complex reef structures to put three good limits in the livewell.

Scott Fairbairn took his THIRD top 5 place finish out of his last four events. Watch Scott's WWR place as the season moves forward, he's been on fire this year.

Pat Neu took the Toyota trucks Walleye Tournament Rewards $2000.00 check, his second of the year.

Todd Riley was top ten, as were Father and Son Pros Dan and Danny Plautz. Watch for video and image updates after WalleyeFIRST Coverage of FLW Red Wing League event is completed.

Congratulations to Gary on the win, I know it was a very hard fought win with the elements he endured fishing on Winnabago for three days. But congrats to the rest of the crew in the top ten, great finishes. One of these days Mr.Fairbairn will be hosting that first place trophy very soon I would suspect.

Gary worked very hard to hold the boat on those small complex structure elements and had his Co pitch cranks, putting quite a few of the fish in the net. Interesting stratgey all the way around!

Thankyou everyone for all of the support at this tournament. I'm finally home for a few days and can catch up. It was a brutal tournament to fish in such heavy winds every day, but ended up well worth it. Steve, as usual, fantastic coverage. Keep up the good work. Thanks again and good luck fishing!
