Location: Menasha, WI | Hit the water before dawn this morning but the fish didn't start biting until the wind picked up around 6:30. Had a very good morning drifting harnesses along a reef edge in 8'-11', best speed was .9-1.1mph, best color was a tie between perch holographic and hammered gold blades. Eleven fish total with 3 over 20" and the rest between 15"-20". I ended the day at 9am but would have stayed out longer had I not gut hooked a fish that I had to keep which brought my basket to 5. I'll post some pics later. |
