Was just wondering how the trolling bite has been. Will be up there Monday for a few days. Usually focus on top half of lake. Does anyone have a recent report? Also, does anyone know what the water level is like up on the Bay City Flats? i like using that ramp if there is enough water to come out across the flats. Thanks for any info.

The trolling bite has been pretty consistent all season, but you better be set up to work depth ranges from 8 to 20 FOW and it really pays to run and gun. My folks Saturday pulled a really decent 2 person limit of saugers but it took us 8 hrs to do it. I have been working the shallower depths with ledcore and flatlines and out deeper with 3-ways and sticks. Water levels are ok after our recent rains and the lake is in great shape. Good luck and let us know how your trip turns out.
