| Which battery should I connect my Lowrance LCX-111 to? Cranking or Deep Cycle?

| No interference from the TM when running it. That said, I did have a starting battery issue Saturday. I think my charger is bad, as it is always showing charge when plugged in. First time I had a problem with that battery dying on my. If it happens again, I'll go to a dual pupose battery. |

| I agree with, Shep, I put a bunch of stuff on my T/M batteries in the last boat, I had problem with static/interference with the marine band and had sonar "noise" with the LMS-160. Motorguide T/M. Ended up moving the stuff over to the starting battery, no more problems. |

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | I like the cranking battery for the same reasons, ALSO, I can monitor the voltage in my starting battery while I am trolling. Hint to shep, LOL!! |

| I use a deep cycle for my cranking battery.. i find that constantly running down a "crank batter" will kill.. im on 3 years using a optima yellow top for cranking.. they also have a pheonminal capacity.
