| This 2006 boat has a 25" transom. What length kicker shaft do I need? Planning on buying a Yammy T8 with tilt and trim. Assume I can mount directly to transom without any lift/tilt device (Panther, etc.), correct? Thanks |

| Should be able to mount directly. Not familiar with the transom of the boat, but if it doesn't have too much rise on the sides from the big motor, a 20" shaft should work. That is what I have on my Tuffy 1890. The big motor is a 25". |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Either one will work just fine, I think I had a 25' shaft on my Alumacraft last year but I can't remember. But I know either or will work just fine. I know others who had a 20' and a 25' on that boat! Only difference was, they were black. hehe. Don't overlook that Pro Kicker. |
