I finally have a chance to get out on the bay. What do you guys think should I fish the lower bay or head north for Door County? It has been a long time since I was out last and I just cannot make up my mind.

Fished Larson's Thurs. night from 8pm till 1:30am. Only picked up 2 eyes and 3 smallies. This weather really seems to have shut them down. I'd try the lower bay out of Suamico

Fished out of Saumico Tuesday & Wednesday. Both days 0 walleyes. Lightning and weather really has them spread out & lockjawed.

Hit the bay both days for around 6 hrs. Saturday was ok to the north with several large walleye taken on spinners in 20-35 of water around structure. Not fast and furious but some nice fish. Sunday out of Suamico, well lets just say we sucked but I do know of some fish that were caught. We targeted deeper water most of the day and ended up in shallow by the weeds with nothing but a few sheeps and a cat for our efforts. Hope to get out a few more times before the year is over. Thanks to those that replied.

My buddy and I also were out on the bay saturday out of suamico. Fished 27 fow to 22 fow with a few trash can lids (enormous sheephead) and only one walleye. BUT the walleye was a very fat 31 incher that will head for the taxidermist, caught by my buddy. Saw plenty of fish on sonar and also clouds of baitfish. We actually had what looked like a 3 inch white perch on the trailer hook. Would they school tight enough to look like a cloud on sonar? Looked like a perfect size lunch for a walleye, maybe why the fishing is slower than we would like?

I fished out of suamico on sunday and did pretty well. I just kept moving north and east and finally got into some nice fish about a 1/2 mile north and east of the big pack of boats. 30 to 33 fow red beads gold blades and SLOW. I fished green island today in about 6 footer's but I don't think the fish are there yet. If there is anybody fishing around there I would be interested to here how you are doing. I've got some vacation days to burn and between green and chambers I would like to spend the fall up there.

Fished out of Sturgeon Bay. Fished Monument north on Sat. nothing but some northerns, sheeps, and smallmouth. Fished Littl Sturg. south on Sun. and the same to show. Didn't boat a walleye. Fished crawlers from 12'-30'.

There were fish to be had at Green Island a few weeks ago, I wasn't there myself but one of my partners had a few fish there. They are real hit and miss I am told. Good Luck
