Subject: Crappie day of fishing

Well the cold weather kept most of the pleasure boaters off the river on Saturday but the sunshine sure felt nice. We caught a few white bass, a couple of cat fish and a bunch on nice size crappies. We just went tree to tree with Lindy No-Snagg Timbr Rock jigs tipped with small minnows and had a gas. The most fun was getting the bigger ones out of the tree branches. We also caught a couple of small walleye and some small mouth bass.
