A thousand thank you's to everyone for their prayers, emails, phone calls, well wishes, etc... My Dad is making improvements each day and the road to good health is long. He is making great progress and it looks like he'll be released from UW Madison Hospital on Monday.

Thank you everyone from me and my entire family.

Jerry,
Our family has him on the list. Hope all works out well, I know how I would feel if it was my dad.

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers concerning my Dad. He is leaving Madison today (finally!!!) and hopefully will be home by the end of the week. His rehab is still ahead of him and it looks to be long, but with God's help his recovery should be complete in the end. Thanks again everyone!!!

JERRY,
WE DON'T PERSONALLY KNOW EACH OTHER BUT I WANTED TO TELL YOU ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. THE SUMMER OF '05 I HAD A BOIL ON MY STOUMACH THAT WAS VERY PAINFUL. I WENT TO THE DR. AND HE GAVE ME A ANTIBIOTIC BUT IT REALLY NEVER WENT AWAY. I SLOWLY BEGAN TO LOOSE MY ABILITY TO WALK. I ENDED UP AT THE U OF M HOSPITAL WITH A STAPH INFECTION THAT SPRED INTO MY SPINAL COLUM. AFTER TWO SURGERIES I AM THANKFULLY ALIVE BUT AM PARALIZED FROM MY CHEST DOWN. I'M ONLY 43 YEARS OLD. I HAVE LITTLE USE OF MY HANDS BUT STILL GET OUT AND FISH AS MUCH AS I CAN. I'VE WORKED WITH SOME ENGINEERS AND REASEACH AND DEVELOPMENT PEOPLE TO HELP WITH DEVICES TO BE ABLE HOLD MY FISHING ROD AND TO REEL THE FISH UP. I FISHED IN A COUPLE OF BIG WALLEYE TOURNY'S AND PLAN TO FISH IN MANY MORE. I CAN'T WORK AT MY JOB ANYMORE SO FISHING IS ALL I HAVE TO KEEP ME ACTIVE. I HOPE YOUR DAD PULLS THROUGH THIS. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU ON YOUR DADS RECOVERY. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH HIM. B.JAY
