I am headed up with some friends (2 boats). Weather looks to be decent, maybe a little breezy later on, but manageable.

Been a good day bite running live bait (crawlers and redtails.) a few guys getting fish on cranks during the day. Night bite has been all cranks.

Chris, nice to meet you last Saturday. Unfortunately, we pulled cranks and harnesses in the upper bay for 5 hours without even a hit. Any idea what I might have been doing wrong? We fished 10 to 40 fow and speeds from .7 to 1.7 gps. I threw every color shape and size at them. Did the guys that I gave the Mack's products to come back with a report?

Horshak, it wasn't just you. Saturday was off for a lot of people (even the guys you gave the blades to.) Sunday evening on the other hand was pretty good for the guys pulling cranks after dark. That's just fishing, I guess.

lot's of activities coming on in the next days with the 2007 Michigan Deer Season opening on Thursday, November 15th. Wishing all of you a safe and successful hunt!!!!!!
Little Bay de Noc is showing some pretty good catches of fish the past week again,
Water temps. running between 45' and 49'
Air temps. been playing with us telling us winter is shortly approaching.
Winds today and through the next several days will be variable but looking more south towards end of week with a cool down.

Walleyes still being caught using harness's, cranks and using of lead-core lines working water depths to 35 feet.
"Jigging and Live-Bait" rigging one of our favorite methods seeing some pretty good results, not only walleye but netting some very nice northern pike and smallmouth bass.
Breakline structures and seeing fish relating to the weedbeds getting away from heavier boat traffic.
