"Conditions and Fishing, December 30th, Bay de Noc"

Ice conditions definitely have improved in the past week now and seeing good ice from upper Bay ranging 8 to 10 inches and seeing also up too 8 inches of ice from the narrows of Gladstone just south of the Armory/McDonalds areas.
Little snow and good ice making for good travel using ATV's, snow-machines and foot - travel no problem.
Bait suggestions for walleye and seeing that normal run of jigging Rapala's in #5, #7 and ourselves taking several fish on #9's.
Colors vary but the glows seeing some advantage in the conversations hearing among fisherman. Catching again some numbers of undersize walleye telling us they indeed are growing and are active.
Perch catches and seeing some larger perch this year.

Weather looking like holding with colder nights and mid-range 20' days making for good fishing.
Marty
