"January 2nd. 2008 New Year Bay de NOC!"

2nd. day of the New Year and spending the day on the ice with a Father/daughter team from the cities of Minnesota.
Both Samantha, age 9 and her Dad, Nate Wagner were on the ice with me at day break! What a beauty of a sunrise!!!!!
Tip-ups set with lively golden shiners and sucker minnows along with beginning our jigging we continously were marking fish.
Missing several fish, catching an undersize fish and finishing up the day with a nice 18 incher was OK.
Not maybe the greatest day but a fun day, good conversations and coming back again.
Overall hearing of a couple fish being taken this evening.
Over night looking like a cold batch of weather too really make more ice. Keep in touch fisherman, tomorrow's another day!
