Yesterday, 1-5-08 we put one of our bridges together and have it on the shoreline. The city of Neenah will be delivering a load of Christmas trees in a week or so for marking the roads. We cannnot plow or put our trucks on the ice until we have 12 or more inches of ice, which we do not have now. With this warm spell, it'll be a while before we can get out there. If you drive by the clubhouse and see vehicles there, feel free to stop in for a cold beverage or to just shoot the breeze. 2008 memberships are available.

Our annual fisheree is scheduled for opening weekend of Sturgeon season, Feb. 8, 9,10. Food, drinks, live music, raffles, games and people watching all three days. Hopefully there will be lots of big fish to gawk at!!!! On that Saturday the X-Treme Off Roaders will be having races. This is our big fundraiser that helps us support various local organizations. Come on out and enjoy the fun.

Thanks,
Dale Frank, President

Just an update. Our landing is currently closed to truck/car traffic. Shoeline ice remains iffy at best and we have to wait a while before reopening. We are looking at opening it for ATV traffic this weekend. Just have to see how it firms up.

Well, here's the deal. The ice at our landing is pretty soft. We had plans to put tree lines and bridges out on Sat. but that won't happen. We've decided to wait a week and let the sub zero weather help us out. We don't want the landing to get messed up before we can give our members good conditions for getting their shacks out.
Thanks,
Dale Frank

Count me in Dale. My auger and I will be at the club by 9:00 -- I'm pretty sure that's the time you mentioned, if you need me earlier I can be there, just let me know..

Viking, thanks for coming out. Your help was appreciated.

We put a tree line out 4 miles yesterday. The ice cracked on Friday night so we had to put a bridge about 50 feet off our landing. With the forecast of rain, we decided to hold off on plowing. We don't need water pooling on banked roads, makes for bad road conditions. Next Saturday we'll put our other bridge out, plow the roads and extend the tree line. Right now there is 10-12 inches of snow out there. With 4 wheel drive you can get around pretty well. Feel free to stop by the club house for more info. I'll also be updating our recorded message today at 920-747-4526.
