Hey Guys !

I just wanted to give an update on the conditions of the Fox.

Next week we should be able to get bigger boats into the river. The channel is open nearly all the way to the Dam. There is a few spots that are iced in but they are sure to disappear with next weeks warm temps. The city of DePere plans to bring down the front end loader next week to bust out the launch as long as mother nature cooperates.

I have fished already out of my 14' jon boat by shoving it over the ice. Fishing has been good and looks to get better...it's just good to have a long rod in my hands again.

If anyone needs current conditions they can call me at (920) 660-7275.

Capt. Chris

Thanks for the update Chris. It looks like I may have a day or two off next week, so I might give you a call.

sounds good Jerry! Fishing should be very very good next week. I'm going to try as best I can to keep this thread going and up to date through the spring...

Chris,

If you don't mind, could you please put it under the Winnebago and bay of Green Bay forum? You can just copy and paste your original report and submit it there with the rest of the river and Bay reports. Thanks!!

Alright, looks like I will have a great spring break with this news. The Tuffy X-190 will definitely be getting a good workout for about a week straight.

Chris, thanks for the update and keep it coming if you can. I'm driving an hour and half one way to fish so it's great to have a decent and reliable report coming in.
