Location: LaCrosse, WI | Has anyone had any success adding a tube system to a side rod locker to help keep rods organized? I plan on making and adding a system for this. Right now the plan is to buy some of those golf club tubes and somehow strap them together.
Then for the rod butts I planned on cutting small holes out of a sheet of thick plastic that I could somehow fasten to the inside of rod locker. I was wondering if anyone has seen some aftermarket products that work as well. It would be nice if there are some good systems out there so I don't have to fabricate one. |

Location: Elgin, Illinois | Small sheet of cabinet plywood (dense, no voids and nicely sanded for finish in black) and Drill cut with a drill press a 1 1/2" hole half way through the plywood and then flip it over and with the same pilot hole drill/cut a hole the same diameter as the outside of 1 1/4" PVC pipe and you have the "tubes" (the holes will leave a step inside that you can use for a gluing surface for the tubes and make one for the far end the same way) for the front end... made to whatever length floats your boat and fits your locker (all puns intended) for the butt ends use the same holes all the way through another piece of cabinet plywood. Just plan your holes and the size and shape of the plywood around the size and shape of the locker.

| I used golf tubes cut them to fit so two inches of the tube sticks out. Then hold them in place and spray that spray foam insulation inside the rod locker around the tubes let it set up 3\4 hours. The foam will expand and push out after set up just saw the excess foam off with a knife and paint black looks factory and won't move. |
