water surface temps. at 69' to 71', cloudy overcast in the morning and clearing up by noontime the family of Adam, Heather, Schueller and Scout had some fun fishing on the Bay for Walleye.
Water depths to about 35 feet finding our bite being best about 20 - 25 feet down running crawler harnesses, snap weights and in-line boards.
Catching a nice meal of fish for the family along with several perch both Schueller (age 9) and Scout (age 7) they laughed and giggled cranking in their first time Walleye.
Along with lots of photos it was kid's fun!
Northern Pike action; hearing of anglers casting the weedbeds and edges using large spinnerbaits, (chartruese, orange, red and white; large willow blades) crankbaits and buzz baits on the surface.
Smallmouth Bass action; working the sand flats with scattered weeds and rocky shoals areas. Tubes, Spinnerbaits and surface baits.
FOR YOU SHORELINE/DOCK FISHERMAN AND THE FISHING PIER OFF GLADSTONE HARBOR ANGLERS CATCHING A VARIETY OF PERCH, BASS, ROCK BASS AND ALSO SEVERAL WALLEYE'S BEING REPORTED CAUGHT USING SLIP-BOBBER RIGS CAST INTO THE DEEPER WATER.
