Fenwick is coming out with 12 new Elite Tech Walleye rods 

The most unique feature of the new lineup is the trolling rods that have a line counter incorporated into the blank. In place of the first line guide, Fenwick has installed a line counter that isn't influenced by spool size or diameter, a trait of most reel counters.

That is a very interesting concept. If it works out, it will not may Daiwa very happy:)
