Member Posts: 2445 Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | This is to inform all users of the Wolf river, the town of wolf river has some changes that are being proposed. The town of wolf river has jurisdiction on the wolf river from the triangle campground area to the mouth of the river. That would include the whole orihula area. The petition that will be brought to the board on tuesday the 19th will have signatures that are for the lengthening of the current slow no wake which extends from down river of orihula to up river past party doll marina. as everyone knows that is a very long stretch. with landowner signatures they want to extend it from party doll all the way up river past triangle farms campgrounds. That slow no wake would take 45 mins during fishing season to go through. It is totally unneccesary. Pretty soon they will be looking to be just like waupaca county and the slow no wakes willl be in effect 24-7 not just the week ends like it is now. I know they have started a petition as we have one here that the public can sign against this. I am trying to get one online for everyone to sign. Thanks For listening. Member Posts: 538 | Wouldn't the Party Doll be opposed as well? It would affect their rentals and slip users. A no wake there would really shut down the river. It would be a pain for all the locals that fish it as well. I don't get it. Take care, Jim O

Member Posts: 1656 | Tabled perhaps, but I see Mr. Knorr is going to the media with his case. Couple articles in this last sunday's paper. Written in a pro speed limit manner. FYI.

Member Posts: 1656 | It's a shame, since Mr. Knorr has made this a personal vendetta based on the article I read. DNR guy made charges from the result of ONE gruesome accident several years ago. Judge tossed out the charges and now Mr. Knorr is hell bent on "winning" his argument. Please and thanks for keeping us informed, Denny.

the worst part is they will lay in wait until we are all sleeping for the winter and then they will strike. He is getting the press on his side as well. By the time its in the paper again, it will read victory.
