Member Posts: 68 | I've spent a lot of time in bass and walleye boat fishing all over the midwest. I've been in multiple Rangers, Champions, Stratos, Nitros, and a host of other brands. The new X-190 with removeable rear deck is hands down the most multi-functional species oriented boat I have ever had the pleasure to fish from. It has the ability to runny skinny sloughs 12" deep all the way to the depths of norhern Great Lakes with ease. Best part is it will accept a 200HP, 9.9 kicker (when you choose) engine, and still maintains bass boat profiles and lines. With a Merc 200 Optimax it can easily run in the mid 60's, yet hold solid in mid range cruising speeds too. It handles big water better than any Ranger or Champion Bass boat I have ever road in. The front deck is huge and comfortably fishes two anglers if you choose. I am attaching a few photos of this new X-190 for you to look at and consider stopping by your local Tuffy dealer to take a look at this boat. www.tuffyboats.com Tight Lines, Dale Radcliffe Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Member Posts: 68 | Moreyes- there just isn't many walleye tourneys here that is why I'm working on setting up the new walleye series. I currently have this boats baby brother in a tiller in Blue and Silver. I will have to save my pesos so maybe down the road as I'd like to have a tiller and a wheel for different situations. I have the E-tec 90 tiller and it is a great motor. I think I may end up hoping in a few open bass events or maybe Catfish Days bass/ walleye tourney in July.

Member Posts: 105 | Dale, where is the storage for my Muskie Boxes/walleye boxes and expecially my big kahuna muskie net? To me it looks like a great bass fishing boat. Where is the room, even when you remove the rear deck for trolling walleye? I my PO it looks like a decent muskie rig with out the storage area for a huge net. Love the large casting deck up front for muskie fishing that is for sure! Like the Osprey sitting in Holem Marine right now with the 175 Etec on it! That looks to have more room than this with ample casting/trolling room and open storage. Also listed around $30K. You know if that boat is new up there or used? I looked at that and the Crestliner Raptor when I was over there the last time. Been a while.

Member Posts: 68 | Hey Tom - the new Osprey that was there had a 150 e-tec on it an it sold about two weeks ago. The new X-190 in the pictured has in the removable deck and by simply pulling 4 bolts, there is a ton of room to set up for open water trolling. The captain and co-pilot seats turn 360 degrees with sliders, so you can sit while trolling- pretty slick. It has a huge rod locker up the center for more rods than we have combined and the batteries lie beneath them with a false floor over the top- enough room for 3- 31 series deep cycles. You would be amazed if you had them price out a X-190 with a 150 or 175 vs a comparable Raptor. Zach Boudreau has a sweet X-190 right now with a tandem axle trailer you will have to check out. The thing that is surprising is rigged right, they are often more affordable than their 1760 little brother like Holmen had. If you get by the dealership ask LeRoy if he's ordered an X-190 yet. I fished out of Rick Bryson's with 200 E-tec a couple weeks ago- it's a solid boat for the river that has speed to boot. Nice to have when your back in the flight and want a "certain special wingdam" down river to start on! There is a ton of room for tackle storage in the front compartments, inside the removeable deck and for the biggest net on the floor or folded along the inside wall. Best thing is resale- there just isn't many of these available in the market and when one comes up- it's SOLD! Simple supply and demand is on your side. If you like to fish bass, muskies, and walleyes, heck even panfish -what a completely functional boat for all seasons!

Member Posts: 105 | Didn't know that is what Rick had. That is a sweet boat he has with the 200 E-Tec. I will have to get Rick down here on Pool 8 and take him out so I can see how that thing handles. Thanks for the info.

Member Posts: 43 Location: Arcadia, WI | Hey Tom - I'd love to take you out for a test run / day of fishing.. Just email me and to set something up. Storage is sweet in this boat (with or w/o the rear deck). John - I recall that run - always good to lead the pack. by the way, good finish in Dubuque - heard the conditions were not ideal.. Member Posts: 1188 Location: Chicago IL. | Thanks Rick. Had to scratch up what we can. Barges kept moving in and parking on our fish. Made losing 4 fish that day really hurt. Lets hook up in Sept when we come up there.
