Nice job guys and way to finish off the season! I can't even imagine the rush that must have been. Very cool to see your Dad on stage with you Robert. You guys make one heck of a team. Have a nice relaxing off season and good luck next year:)

I must say it was fun getting to know these guys better and Robert had no problem borrowing me a butt seat to fit the Ranger i ran even though we were competing for the same cash and that says something about the man.Great job guys good luck in the MWC this week.

I think the walleye world will be hearing about Joe Okada and Rob Blosser for many years to come. They are innovative, creative and pay their dues on the water. Congratulations on a great championship and season!

I agree with all of the above. Both are young and enegetic. Both are positive. Both have me shaking in my boots! Robert, Joe, If you are listening to me - get a real job - take up needle point - move to Indonesia and join the peace corps. Maybe both of you will get abducted by a tribe of cannibals and us old guys can still cash a check or two! OK? LOL

Seriously - Good job men! It was fun hangin' out with both of you at the "ship"!

I am looking forward to watching both of your careers skyrocket for years to come!

Please holler if I can assist in any way!

A Friend,

ps - Robert, the scene of you and your dad brought tears to my eyes! Nice!

Thank you all for the kind words! It was an absolute dream come true to have an opportunity to compete in the final two days, and to have one of my best friends right there with me made it even better!

It was no surprise to see the other eight that qualified. They are the biggest names in the sport, the guys I’ve looked up to (and still do) for so many years, and it was an honor to get my butt kicked by every one of them!

Congrats Tommy! It was just a matter of time before you pulled off the big one! Hope to cross paths at some point this winter.

Joe Okada
