I've either found numbers or size but not both at the same time. Ice is solid and consistently 7"; there are a number of working heaves that are pretty sketchy so use your spud bar 'til you find a decent palce to cross. Big perch (10"-12") are coming on rosies deadsticked or tip-up in 9'-12' FOW, #16 treble just below a bead; any jigging at all and they're gone. They seem to be traveling solo and a bite every 20 minutes is "fast action". This morning was my best outing w/ a half-dozen of the bigger ones. Small perch ( 9") are coming in numbers a bit shallower, jigging small spoons or tear drops tipped w/ waxies or minnow heads. Hopefully, one of these days I'll be able to put the two together and find size and numbers at the same time.

Member Posts: 885 | Don't know if they are catching anything... but last week in my travels, I saw about 20-25 shacks at Skipper Buds. Today, there were 10 or so shacks on Sunset Bay behind the canes. Purple...less Skeeter

Member Posts: 1406 | It sure is PLS, there were trucks all over on Poygan yesterday a solid 12" most everywhere we went, pressure slowed the bite a bit. Take a look at critterssports.com the outdoor report for video fish reports. Wally from Pure Fishing got some nice pike and there were a few whitebass and crappies being caught. Walleyes were slow for us, but nice to be out there. I think they will be plowin roads before next weekend as gettin around is probably tough this morning, those with sleds are able to get on fish as they can be more mobile! Good Luck Tyee
