The following is a Press Release from AIM (Angler's Insight Marketing): AIM™ Announces the Addition of Lund and Mercury As Marketing Partners. Plymouth, WI – February 6, 2009. Anglers Insight Marketing LLC™ (AIM™) is pleased to announce that Lund Boat Company and Mercury Marine have committed their support to the AIM Pro Walleye Series™. Driving these two major Marine industry players to support AIM were several progressive elements designed to increase the excitement in walleye tournament fishing. Included is the introduction of AIM’s Catch-Record-Release™ (CRR), a bold and contemporary format change the sponsors and association believe will return Walleye tournament fishing to its previous level of prestige. Representatives of Lund and Mercury Marine have met at length with Scott Matheson, AIM President and CEO, as well as AIM’s board members, and all express confidence in the event format and the long term potential of this new tournament trail. “Tournament fishing is a critical aspect to our business,” said Andrew Klopak, President of Lund Boat Company. “We have always played a large role in tournament fishing initiatives and intend to continue down this path. It’s equally critical that we align ourselves with organizations that share our vision and passion for the sport of competitive fishing. We believe that AIM’s strategy will unquestionably invigorate the walleye tournament world.” Mercury Marine President Mark Schwabero also voiced faith in AIM and its competitive format. “Now perhaps more than ever it is mandatory that anglers, associations, and sponsors join forces not only to present an exciting and successful sport, but also to ensure a healthy fishing environment that will equally benefit current and future generations. We are excited to team with Lund in supporting the goals of this exciting new tournament association.” "Both Mercury Marine and Lund Boats are rich with tournament tradition and we at AIM are proud to have them on board. Our AIM Pro Walleye Series™ not only incorporates what we have learned from prior tournament venues,” said Scott Matheson, “we have incorporated many new facets which will reflect the changing regulatory environment and the newly available technologies bringing tournament angling into the 21st Century.” Anglers Insight Marketing, LLC (AIM) is a unique tournament organization which is owned by stockholders, the majority of which are Professional walleye anglers. AIM Professionals are among the “All Stars” of professional walleye fishing, with cumulative HUNDREDS of years of tournament experience, including countless tournament victories, series championships, and Angler of the Year titles. This insight and knowledge is now being employed to provide the finest tournament experience for the participants, and the maximum exposure for the host tournament sites and corporate partners. Further information about AIM, as well as up-to-the-minute updates about tournaments can be found at the AIM web site: www.aimfishing.com.

Member Posts: 3899 | Souldn't this press release here have been posted by a official of AIM? Like Scott? Who is behing AIM? Who are all the principles? Why don't they have all their ducks in a row? Who are all the stockholders of Brunswick? Isn't this really just one sponsor, seeing as how both are just the same company? What is the amount Mercury and Lund are giving to AIM? How much did OutdoorFirst Meida pay for the internet publishing rights for AIM? Is Pat Neu switching to Lund and Mercury? Who am us any how? You can't get there from here? Obviously tongue in cheek. Congrats to AIM on a great beginning relationship woith two industry giants. Good luck in your inaugural season. Edited by Shep 2/8/2009 4:22 PM

That is very great news and in these hard times don't we all need some of that. I also really believe the Crr will work and could possibly be the future of tournament standards. When Kevin Adams and myself fished the NTC out of Green Bay in 2007 we had the chance to witness on their jumbo tron the highlights of the event from that weekend. There was nobody talking, the stands were full and standing room only around the big screen while this was being played. I had goose bumps watching this, while listening to the music you find out who your friends are, I felt very proud to be a part of it and obviously so was everybody else. As we go forward with Aim, its Sponsors and the most important part of tournament fishing the fisherman, change is going to take place. I was hessitant at first but remembering that moment in front of the jumbo tron was all the proof I needed... Good luck to all of you no matter which tournament circuit is fished this next year and hopefully for many years to come. John Schneider
