I have a chance to buy an X-38 without hard drive. How good are these units? I know they are discontinued but I can get it for a grand. Is it worth it?

I have the x-38 and have been very happy with it;like the size, and have had zero operating issues with it. I'm sure the x-37 is fine also. Did you find new employment?
