Any action on the dams yet? Just got my boat back after a midsummer accident...hoping to snag a few 'eyes tomorrow...

Just a quick update..found sauger & walleye on the dams in 20-35 feet of water, just off the current below the rollers. Picked up a 26" eye (if I couold figure out how to post a pic, I would :)), and lots of 15-18" fish on a chartruese and blue Walleye Killer jig tipped with a minnow.
Also had the fish of a lifetime for the Mississippi on...2 other boats saw the 45" MUSKIE, yes I said MUSKIE that I had on for about 5 minutes...:(..that's what keeps us coming back, though, right? LOL

Does anybody have any fishing reports for pool 5A? Going to be out there next weekend doing a little walleye & panfishing.
