Has anyone else run into carpet separation on the upper bow deck (Nose) were the carpet meets the gelcoat? I've had two boats, 1700GT and 1760GC and both have had this. I would like to come up with a fix but Im scared of glue making a mess, Maybe some kind of trim strip screwed in place?? Any suggestions??

Location: Rhinelander
Use simple contact cement, and a small artists paint brush. Acetone/fingernail polish remover will clean up anything you spread a bit far. Coat both surfaces, let sit a bit, stick.
